I Just Like Reading. You Should, Too.

She’s all that…But if she’s so smart and pretty, how come she’s not with anyone?

Junior marketing executive Rudie Bermejo can’t figure out why she’s never had a boyfriend, and why no one seems interested beyond being friends. All her friends tell her she looks great, and her boss thinks she’s got the smarts to make it big, and guys think she’s a cool chick to hang with. That should make her a catch, right?

Determined to graduate from the No Boyfriend Since Birth Society, Rudie decides to take matters into her own able hands. And the dating spree is only the beginning…

Almost every a girl I know who ADORES this book is single and NBSB herself. If anything, Betita should be congratulated for coining a new term – or at least making it popular. As for me, since I was already committed by the time I read the book, I didn’t feel as kilig as I probably should have. My bad there maybe.

And honestly, I didn’t find the hero that sexy to begin with but again, that’s just me.

If you’re single, I think it’s safe to say you’ll love this book or at the least, find lots of things in common with the heroine. If you’re not single, it’s a hit-or-miss thing. :)

Hey, I was watching this show in TV5 last night. I thought it’s a little bit coincidental, but I am 27 and I have to admit “I HAVE NO BOYFRIEND SINCE BIRTH” and I had been on a dating spree but not luck. As what the Rudie’s friend said (the character played by Jomari Yllana), it (the relationship) will come in time.
I do have a lot of lady friends who are on the same wavelength. One will be going 31 years old next month and life seems ok.
NO PRESSURE :)

I have had no boyfriend since birth and have not dated, pretty much at all, ever. I really want to someday be married. I am 29. I have never been in love, and never had a boyfriend and only been on about three dates. Tell me straight. Should I give up?

I’ve bought a copy of the book yesterday, I was so tensed for my boss announced a surprise visit, and to ease my nerves I thought reading should be the best resort…well, i haven’t put the book down upon opening it, i’ve read it in full in one-seating…hehehe…nakarelate talaga ako…im in marketing/advertising rin, have so many hang-ups of what-have-been and what-ifs from the past and yet have not been able to land a man of my own. im younger than Rudie though, im 23, yet im a bona fide NBSB gal. If I have written a story of my life also, it would pretty much in the same context, my own sentiments exactly…except for the intimate details of Rudie with Jay ha, and with the Italian guy…I am set to remain chaste even in this modern age, marriage muna before anything else. Naaliw ako sa tagline nya don where she states( not word for word noh…but the idea) : ‘What’s more frustrating is not to have no boyfriend, but to have a bunch of attractive and suitable guys around you, and not having one of them a ‘wee’ bit interested…’ hehehe

haha i can barely remember what being single feels like – i’ve been “in a relationship” for a lot of years now, but this book definitely makes me remember…and yes, that tagline is so particularly true.

i guess, kanya-kanyang luck lang…:)
