I Just Like Reading. You Should, Too.

I’ve read her first work but this is the one that really stuck to my mind. Maybe, after a few more years, her stories could be as compelling as those by Lynne Graham, Lucy Monroe, and Jane Porter.

Rafael Santini is an F1 champion and the typical M&B hero – arrogant, wealthy, handsome, sexy, and incredibly smart. His woman here is Eden Lawrence, a journalist he had an affair with four years ago…and whom he dumped after catching her in bed with his brother. A twist of fate allows Rafael and Eden to meet again. They both still love each other, but their distrust runs deep and they’ll both have to overlook the past to start living in the present.

Okay, I know, lousy excerpt, but I’m feeling too lazy today to be coherent. Suffice to say, it’s the typical sophisticated dazzling romance you’ll expect from this particular Harlequin line.

When Francesco Romanelli met Erin Foyle, they were married within days – but it took just a month for their marriage to fall apart…Believing her husband to be nothing more than a cheat, Erin starts divorce proceedings – she won’t be fooled by him again. But even though soon she won’t be Francesco’s wife, she will never be entirely free of him – she is pregnant with his child.Francesco discovers Erin is pregnant – how dare she keep it from him? If he has his way, it’s highly unlikely that their divorce will happen… He’s on a mission to reclaim her – as his wife and in his bed…

This isn’t her best work. I think she could do a lot more with the ending. It has the potential of becoming a tearjerker and it feels like a waste that she didn’t get to make it one. But still a sweet sexy read.
