I honestly thought this was a werewolf book and because I wasn’t that fond of werewolves then – I definitely love them now!
– I didn’t bother reading this. BIG BIG MISTAKE.
Summary: Royal Treatment starts off at Alaska – as a country ruled by, I think, constitutional monarchy. The royals are a unique, funny, and extremely beautiful (mostly black-haired and blue-eyed) brunch – it’s only a very dull man / woman who’d have problems liking them. Now, here we meet David – the Crown Prince, also happens to be a marine biologist, and doesn’t care much beyond his penguins, duties, and family (not necessarily in that order). Then you get Christina, a cook (no, really, a cook and not a chef) with a good heart and a dirty mouth. She’s pretty, of course. Funny, too. Anyway, a twist of fate brings Christina to Sitka palace and – what’s this, she’s engaged to the Crown Prince?
It’s really, really funny. You might think this is just like Betsy with a royal crown but it’s not. It’s so not that. And Ed – the royal majordomo – is, hands down, the one with the best lines!
I really have nothing else to say except – well – READ IT!
It kinda pains me to say this – Undead series has long been my favorite – but I think, I think – this one is slightly better. Gah. Can’t believe I said that.
